Professor Dr. Sazzad Hossain nominated for BCSCL Independent Director

University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh Member Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain has been nominated as the independent director of board of directors for Bangladesh Communication Satellite Company Ltd (BCSCL).

The Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology has recently issued a circular in this regard.

At present, Professor Dr. Sazzad Hossain is serving as a full-time Member of the UGC. Earlier, he was the senior faculty of Computer Science and Engineering at University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh (ULAB).

BCSCL, the state owned company, is operating the Bangabandhu Satellite-1.
