Training workshop on ‘Innovation in public Services’ begins at UGC
The inaugural ceremony of a two-day long training workshop on ‘Innovation in Public Services’ organized by Information Management, Communication and Training (IMCT) Division, UGC was held today (12.05.209) at its auditorium.The workshop has been organized for capacity building of innovation to reach the services to the doorsteps of people at easiest and innovative way under National Integrity Strategy. Professor Dr. Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah, Acting Chairman, UGC graced the function as the Chief Guest.
The Chief Guest, in his speech noted that innovative and novel idea is imperative for making activities of any organization dynamic and easier. He stressed the need for discharging duties in systematic, innovative and effective way to keep pace with today’s world. He called upon the participants to contribute to the public services in place of being self-centred.
Mr. Mahbubur Rahyman, Deputy Secretary, IMED, Planning Ministry and Mr. Mahbubur Rahman, Capacity Development Expert, A2i Programme, Prime Minister’s Office are present as the resource persons on the occasion. Mr. Md. Abdul Wahab, Director (Current Charge), IMCT Division and other officials of UGC were present on the occasion.
Thirty four officisls from UGC and seven public universities of the country are participating in the two-day training workshop.
