Prof Alamgir to attend Bauhaus-Universität Weimar’s centenary celebration

University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh Member Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir will leave Dhaka for Germany on 05 July 2019 to attend the 100 years’ celebration programme of Bauhaus-Universität Weimar.

Professor Alamgir along with representatives from different countries of the world are expected to participate in the international seminar titled ‘Climate Talks- A Global Waste Affairs- challenges, needs, answers” in the university.

Bauhaus centenary celebrations and the seminar will be held on 10-19 July 2019. The seminar is arranged to discuss various topics regarding research co-operation and waste management.

He will also exchange views with his counterpart and other academicians on new multilateral scientific projects.

Besides, the UGC member will attend the Erasmus+Programme at University of Padova in Italy as teaching staff mobility to conduct research during 5-10 July 2019.

His research interest areas are solid waste management, geo-environmental engineering problems and climate change.
