Bangabandhu’s mural unveiled at UGC

A mural of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was unveiled at University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh on 24 September 2019. UGC Chairman Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah unveiled the mural of UGC founder Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The UGC Chairman along with its five-full time Members paid rich tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing wreaths at the mural. Later, they took part in special prayer seeking eternal peace of the departed soul of Bangabandhu and the martyrs of August 15, 1975 carnage.

UGC Members Professor Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain, Professor Dr. M. Shah Nowaz Ali, Professor Dr. Dil Afroza Begum, Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain and Professor Dr. Muhammed Alamgir, UGC Secretary Dr. Md. Khaled, Divisional Heads and employees of UGC were present at that time.

Mentionable, the 13 feet high and 10 feet wide mural of Bangabandhu made of tiles has been set up at the entrance of UGC.
