UGC hands over first cheque to Aviation University

University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh today (09 October 2019) handed over a cheque for Tk 3.5 crore to the Vice-Chancellor of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Aviation and Aerospace University (BSMRAAU).

Air Vice Marshal AHM Fazlul Haque, Vice Chancellor of the university received the cheque for 2019-2020 financial year from UGC Chairman Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah. The university got the maiden revenue budget allocation from UGC.

The government established country’s first Aviation and Aerospace University in a bid to produce skilled workforce in this sector.

UGC Member Professor Dr. M. Shah Nowaz Ali, high officials from UGC and BSMRAAU were present.
