UGC sign MoU with Devi Shetty’s Narayana Health
University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dr. Devi Prasad Shetty’s founded Narayana Health for treatment facilities of UGC authority and its officials.
As per the MoU, UGC Chairman, Members, its employees, their family dependents members can get quality treatment from the Bengaluru-based hospital.
UGC Secretary Dr. Md. Khaled and Mr. Joseph Pasangha, Chief Operating Officer of Narayana Health City signed the deal on behalf of their respective organizations on 01 August 2019 at UGC. UGC Chairman Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah presided over the ceremony.
Under the deal, Narayana Health will provide hassle-free and world-class health care services to the UGC family, said Joseph Pasangha, Chief Operating Officer of Narayana Health.
He said the hospital will give special offer in all health care services for them. The hospital will also give priority on doctor’s appointment-consultation, admission and accommodation facilities. “For smooth communication, a contact point will be set up and privilege card will be provided,” he added.
It may be mentioned here that Narayana Health has more than 30 medical specialties with 23 hospitals in different states of India. The hospital has been awarded the best Asian healthcare brand in 2017.
UGC Members Professor Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain, Professor Dr. Dil Afroza Begum and Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain, divisional heads of UGC, representative from Narayana Health, among others, were present on the occasion.
