UGC observes National Mourning Day

University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh paid tribute to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman on his 44th death anniversary.

UGC employees led by its Chairman Professor Dr. Kazi Shahidullah today (15 August 2019) placed floral wreaths at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Bangabandhu Memorial Museum at Dhanmondi Road No. 32 in observance of the National Mourning Day.

UGC Members Professor Dr. Md. Akhtar Hossain, Professor Dr. Dil Afroza Begum; Secretary and President of the UGC Officers’ Association Dr. Md. Khaled, divisional heads, among others, were present at the time.
