Installation ceremony of UGC Karmachari Union held

The Installation ceremony of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) Karmachari Union was held at UGC auditorium on 29 November 2018. UGC Chairman Professor Abdul Mannan administered the oath to the members of executive committee Karmachari Union as the Chief Guest. UGC Members Professor Dr. Dil Afroza Begum, Professor Dr. M. Shah Nowaz Ali and UGC Secretary Dr. Md. Khaled were Special Guests on the occasion. President of UGC Karmachari Union Md. Anwar Hossain presided over the function.

The 2^nd general election to 9-member executive committee of UGC Karmachari Union was held on 13 August 2018. Md. Anwar Hossain and Md. Saiful Islam have been elected President and General Secretary in the election. Other office bearers were- Md. Monir Hosain ,Vice-President, Md. Juel Mian, Joint Secretary, Md. Abdul Motaleb, Organising Secretary, Md. Nazmul Hasan, Treasurer, Md. Tajul Islam, Publicity Secretary, Md. Aminul Islam, Office Secretary and Md. Nur Islam, Cultural and Sports Secretary. The committee will discharge its duties for the next two years.

Divisional heads and other officials of the Commission were present on the occasion.
