UGC signs deal with univ teachers to publish textbook on higher education

University Grants Commission (UGC) of Bangladesh today (24 July 2019) signed an agreement with the three university teachers to publish UGC approved textbook on higher education. As per the agreement, UGC will ensure the copy rights of the author’s books.

The book writers are: Professor Dr. A.K.M. Moinul Haque Meaze of University of Chittagong, Professor Dr. M. Abdus Samad of World University of Bangladesh and Professor Dr. Ayesha Begum of University of Dhaka.

Their books are: Kona Porichiti, Communication Engineering and Fundamentals and Pabnar Oitihasik Imarat.

The signing ceremony was held at UGC where Hon’ble UGC Member Professor Dr. Md. Sazzad Hossain was present as the Chief Guest. UGC Secretary Dr. Md. Khaled and the writers signed the agreement respectively.

Addressing the programme, Professor Dr. Sazzad Hossain said UGC’s assistance to publish standard textbook on tertiary education will be continued. He urged university teachers to come forward in this regard.
